"Eurasia Week" Exhibition of Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was held in Yerevan.

On October 22-24, 2018 the "Eurasian Week" annual exhibition forum of the EAEU Member States was held in Yerevan. Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia made an opening speech. He underlined that the forum could be a great opportunity for the development of integration processes being beneficial to the business circles of different countries.

Representatives of "National Institute of Metrology" CJSC, in the person of Kamo Movsisyan, Chief Advisor to the Director General, also took part in the conference.

The objectives of the forum were: strengthening the integration of the EAEU Member States, enhancing economic potential and industrial cooperation. Participants have paid special attention to the development of the B2B network and he involvement of potential third-party companies and consumers for the competitive and export-oriented products. The issues of business climate, production links and expansion of export potential were also in the focus.

Prime Ministers of the EAEU Member States, ministers, high-ranking officials from a number of partner countries, state corporations and leading business leaders met at the platform. During the three days there were 35 discursive sessions. Representatives from 31 countries took part.

This year, for the first time, a large-scale exhibition was held, with 101 companies participating. The six export-oriented enterprises, including pharmaceuticals and medical equipments, light industry, agriculture, construction materials, jewelry industry, IT-technology, presented their production capabilities as well as production and co-operation potentials. Large companies such as Rostec and CRPT showed interest in the exhibition.
